Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch the much awaited HX250R next year, which has been on display at the last two Auto Expos. It seems like Hero is taking all its time in launching HX250R. The price tag of this bike will make it most affordable 250cc bike in Indian market. It has been powered by a 249cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder DOHC, Liquid cooled engine that comes mated to a six-speed constant mesh transmission system and uses wet multiplate clutch assembly. The engine churns out a net power of 31bhp at 9,000rpm along with a maximum torque of 26Nm. The mill has a power to weight ratio of 223bhp per ton and has a power oriented bore x stroke ratio of 81mm x 48.5mm. With this, Hero HX250R accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in just 2.70 seconds and hits a top speed of 150kmph.

Bajaj Pulsar CS 400
Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is expected to be launched in India by mid-2016. This bike is the perfect blend of sportiness, style, aggressiveness, technology, performance and speed. Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is equipped with 373.2cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with Bajaj’s triple spark technology to give an expected maximum power of 43 Bhp at 9000 rpm and an expected maximum torque of 35 Nm at 7000 rpm and is mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission. It is expected to deliver the maximum speed very close to 150 kmph.

Suzuki Gixxer 250
Suzuki has been rising since its Gixxer 155 launch in India, as it became the first hot seller motorcycle for its Indian 2 wheeler market. The Gixxer 250 seems to be a great addition to the list of bikes in India. It will be powered by a 250cc single cylinder motor expected to deliver maximum power of 28PS mated to a six speed transmission. It will be fitted with the disc brakes on both front and rear for better braking. The optional ABS is also one of the most awaited features, making way for a more safe and relaxing journey with a Gixxer. The transmission on the new Gixxer 250 will have one additional gear than the current one. The 6-speed will enhance its performance and refinement, side by side maintaining a better value in terms of mileage.

Royal Enfield Himalayan
Royal Enfield brings delight for people time to time by launching variety of bikes in Indian market. Next year they are coming with an adventure touring motorcycle-Himalayan. Royal Enfield Himalayan has been loaded with a 410cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed constant mesh gearbox. The torquey mill will hopefully churn out a net power of 28bhp with an expected torque of 40-44Nm. The engine has been tuned in such a way that it will have a low noise vibration harshness (NVH) level in comparison to the ordinary RE 350cc and 500cc mills. The ignition unit will be the digital electronic ignition system that promises an undelayed ignition.

Kawasaki is all set to launch a street racer affordable bike in India. This will be their first single-cylinder offering in India. Z250 SL is powered by a 249cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, parallel twin, mono cylinder, DOHC engine which pumps out a peak power of 27.62 bhp at 9700 rpm and a peak torque of 22.6 at 8200 rpm. The engine is mated with six speed transmission and can reach a top speed of 153 kmph. The Z250 SL has got 290 mm Petal disc brakes at the front and 220 mm Petal disc brakes at the rear. The suspension system comprises of 37 mm hydraulic telescopic fork at the front and Uni-Trak with aluminum linkage at the rear. All for effective braking and superior handling. It is expected that Z250SL will also come with optional ABS.
