The Pulsar AS200 has a semi-fairing which reduces the drag coefficient of the motorcycle, besides improving the aesthetics of the motorcycle. The Pulsar AS200 also comes with a tall fairing and a projector headlamp. Bajaj Avenger gives an extreme and royal biking experience. The bike has come as a replacement for the CB Twister, which failed to live up to the company’s expectations. Being a slightly more premium product than Honda’s dream series, the Livo is positioned above the former. Power for the Honda Livo comes from the 110cc, air-cooled engine that also does duty on the CB Twister. Mated to a 4-speed transmission, the Livo’s engine churns out a maximum power output of 8.25bhp and 8.63Nm. The vehicle also gets Honda Eco Tech (HET) mileage-enhancing technology that also improves engine combustion, reduces friction and optimizes transmission.

Yamaha

Saluto (54,000 INR )

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) launched the Saluto for the Indian market in April 2015. The commuter bike is a new 125cc motorcycle that comes equipped with Yamaha’s ‘Blue Core’ technology like its other FZ siblings.The fuel tank is of 7.6 litres and the bike gets an electric start. Telescopic forks are seen at the front and dual shocks at the rear. The braking duty is performed by drum brakes on both the wheels.The Yamaha Saluto is powered by a 125cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, carburetted mill that produces 8.2bhp of power and 9.8Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a four-speed gearbox.

Suzuki launched their new 155cc motorcycle- the Gixxer, on September 9 after it was first unveiled at the start of 2014.The tank has been well-chiseled complementing the muscular naked look and is capable of holding 12 litres of fuel.Suzuki has powered the Gixxer with a four-stroke single cylinder air-cooled 155cc engine that produces 10.4kW, that is, 13.94bhp of power and 14Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.
